Export Control and Sanctions Policy
This policy explains the export control and economic sanctions rules that apply to your use of the Furcata Services. It is part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Use.
1. Your Representations
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a country or region that is subject to comprehensive trade sanctions.
- You are not identified on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties, including denied-persons, sanctions, or entity lists.
- You will not use the Services for any purpose prohibited by applicable export control or sanctions laws.
- You will not export, re-export, or transfer the Services, or any technical data obtained from them, in violation of applicable law.
2. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Services to send messages to, or otherwise transact with, persons or entities that are subject to sanctions, or to facilitate any activity that violates export control or sanctions laws.
3. Our Rights
- We may screen users and usage against applicable restricted-party and sanctions lists.
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if we determine that your use may violate export control or sanctions laws.
- We may report activity to the relevant authorities where required by law.
4. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for complying with all export control and sanctions laws that apply to your use of the Services, and you agree to indemnify and hold Furcata harmless from claims arising out of your failure to do so.
