Accessibility Statement
Furcata is committed to making our website, applications, and documentation accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe accessible design is better design, and we work to remove barriers that could prevent anyone from using our services.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML and landmark structure so screen readers can navigate our pages.
- Keyboard-operable navigation and interactive controls, with visible focus indicators.
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interface components.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and other non-text content.
- Responsive layouts that remain usable when text is enlarged or the viewport is narrow.
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels and clear error messaging.
- Reduced-motion support for users who prefer less animation.
- Regular accessibility reviews as part of our design and development process.
Known Limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some areas of our website, product interface, or third-party embedded content may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Where we identify a barrier, we prioritize a fix and, where a fix is not immediately possible, we provide an alternative way to access the information or complete the task.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech recognition software, and operating-system accessibility features. We test with a combination of automated tooling and manual review.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you need information from our website in an alternative format, please contact us at support@furcata.com. Please describe the page or feature involved and the assistive technology you are using so we can investigate. We aim to respond within five business days.
Enforcement and Continuous Improvement
We review this statement at least annually and after significant changes to our website or product. Accessibility requirements are incorporated into our design and development practices, and we provide accessibility awareness guidance to our team.
