Connect Furcata to Shopify, Zapier and the tools your team already uses.

Share article

Furcata is built to sit alongside the tools you already use. This section covers the connections that are available today and how to get the most out of them.

What you can connect today

Two connections are generally available: Shopify and Zapier. Other connections are on the way.

Shopify

Connect a Shopify store to Furcata and your order activity becomes a source of customer messages. When a shopper checks out, updates an order, or has an order fulfilled, Furcata can react with the right message at the right moment.

Furcata listens for four store events:

  • A checkout is created.
  • A checkout is updated.
  • An order is fulfilled.
  • An order is updated.

Each delivery is verified with a signature before it is accepted, so only genuine requests from your store are processed. Repeated deliveries from the same store are also rate limited.

Unsubscribed contacts are skipped

If a contact has opted out, Furcata will not send them a message as a result of a Shopify event. Opt-out always wins.

See the Shopify page for the full walkthrough.

Zapier

Zapier connects Furcata to thousands of other apps without any code. You authorise Furcata once, then build Zaps that read from your account or write to it.

  • List recent messages.
  • List accounts.
  • List contacts.
  • Get account details.

Furcata uses OAuth 2.0 for Zapier. You approve access in the Furcata app through a dedicated connect screen, and Zapier receives tokens it can refresh on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time from the app.

See the Zapier page for the full walkthrough.

MCP clients

If you would rather drive Furcata from an AI assistant, the Model Context Protocol server is the better fit. It is documented separately, alongside the REST API.

Connections that are not available yet

Integrations shown as coming soon on the Furcata website are not yet generally available. Do not build production workflows against them until they are announced.
